migrating physical server settings to hyper v ?

  im using a r2 dell with server 2008 installed and would like to migrate the settings to a hyper v also server 2008 .any idea how to do it by not using physical to vhd conversion.[/FONT]

create a disk image of the physical server.

create new virtual machine

boot the new vm using clonezilla iso

restore disk image to virtual machine.

resolve any driver conflicts
