McAfee hung up...

Ok, I've been doing a full scan for the last, oh, 2 1/2 hours and it is now hung up and will not continue. If I hit the skip button, will that cancel my scan or just skip the item it's hung up on? I'm running XP Professional SP3 (build 2600) if that helps.

Probably kill the whole thing. Dithc McAfee and scan with the tools in my guide and post a hijackthis log if you have issues

hi you should get mcafee off your computer and go with avg and spy bot

+1. Nuke McAfee pronto. It can be difficult to remove however and you may have to contact their tech support to download removal tools.

Yea it's god awful nearly as bad as norton. Nothing will beat panda for suck though absolutely nothing.
