One more thing I'd run a scan with is Panda Anti-Rootkit (takes < 5 min to scan); more of a "just in case" type of thing than a necessity.

Malware bytes still not running......

Try to use Malwarebytes Chameleon (in your Malwarebytes directory, there should be a folder called Chameleon. Try to open it from there (open the help file inside and read the instructions)

OP already got it fixed by running through the clean reinstall guide for MBAM.

Good to know on the Chameleon tip though; didn't know about that.
