try manually removing, on www.doxdesk.com there are listings for spyware/parasites.

you could also go to run > msconfig and deselect any programs starting up that you dont recoginse.

also try going to http://www.symantec.com/homecomputing/
at the bottom is a link to a free online virus check, you may have one that persistantly downloads spyware.

and finally ensure you have a firewall and if you have one make sure its up to date. www.download.com has a free copy of zonealarm, thats a good one

Sounds like you have some adware onboard as well..
Please download Adaware from the link below first
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/. & update it B4 scanning.
In settings under 'scanning,' have it set to
'scan within archives,'
'scan active processes,'
'scan registry,'
'deepscan registry'
'scan my IE Favourites for banned URL's,'
'scan my host's file.'
In 'tweaks' under 'scanning engine' set it to 'unload recognised processes during scanning.'
Also in 'tweaks' under 'cleaning engine' set it to 'Automatically try to unregister
objects prior to deletion' & 'let Windows remove files in use at next reboot.'
Select 'activate in-depth scan' before starting scan.
When the scan is finished select 'next.'
Remove what it finds by placing a check in the box to the left of the object. Reboot
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Create a folder on your hard drive somewhere like in "My Documents" and name it Hijackthis
Download 'Hijack This to its own folder http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/c.bennet...owclinic1.html
Doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, load it in Notepad, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists
will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

Don't forget to use CW Shredder. Many people swear by Ad-Aware, or Spybot S&D, but CW Shredder is made specifically to remove CoolWebSearch variants from your computer, most of which can't be removed by the other programs.

Download the tool about:Buster created by Rubber Ducky. http://www.downloads.subratam.org/AboutBuster.zip

Unzip AboutBuster to the Desktop and have it ready to run, but don't run it yet.

Now sign off the internet and remain offline until this procedure is complete. Copy these instructions to notepad and save them on your desktop for easy access.

Run Hijack This again and put a check by these. Close ALL windows except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {62999427-33FC-4baf-9C9C-BCE6BD127F08} - (no file)

Next run aboutbuster. Again remain offline. Double click aboutbuster.exe, click OK, click Start, then click OK. This will scan your computer for the bad files and delete them.

Once the tool is done scanning, copy the log and save it to paste back here in your thread.

Restart your computer and post the report from AboutBuster and a new Hijack this
