Right I was away downstairs earlier on and some pop up came up and it said "poker" - I have recently started to play poker online so I clicked it. So anyways, it installed on my computer and I came back and it installed 10,000 porn images on my computer :mad:

I like to keep my computer clean. Anyways, got all images removed bar one, it just refuses to remove. It actually won't let me delete it....When I right click it, I get the options of;

"Open / Edit / Open With / Send To" etc.

So I thought hmmm, so I restarted it in Safe Mode and tried to remove it the same way, still won't shift.

I have ran a series of applications on my pc to see if that would work like;

* Ad-Aware SE Personal
* Spybot Search & Destroy 1.4
* Super Cleaner
* CC Cleaner
* AVG Anti-Virus

I have also went to run and typed the command of "%temp%" and deleted information that way.

Still no luck.

Any help guys??

It will be appreciated,

Thanks.

First thing's first, don't click on any pop-ups. I know those free IPOD's look nice, but you do pay the price somehow. In this case, through porn images on your computer, or worse, viruses.

To remove the images, go into safe mode. To do this, reboot your computer, and you'll see on the startup screen "Boot Order", with a shortcut key. Click on the shortcut key and boot from Safe Mode. Another way is to Shut your computer down while it's starting up (unplugging it), but I don't recommend that :p

I have been in Safe Mode, and tried to remove it, it gives me the same options :(

That idea is helpful, but been there done that and it don't work.

Keep em coming.

When you are that infected with spyware and viruses, the only thing to do is to download and update your antivirus and antispyware until they find something.

I recommend using Avast Antivirus and Spybot - Search and Destroy.

Dude, do you ever read my posts??? I mentioned in my first post using that and after running that and others, still didn't help.

I don't think he actually does read the posts to be honest.

Please download and run HijackThis 1.99.1 from here: http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=3155

Make sure you put Hijackthis in the root of your drive (C:\HijackThis)

Open up the Hijackthis and click 'do a system scan and save log file.' DO NOT FIX ANYTHING!!

Once it's finished it will open a .txt file. Copy/Paste the log onto the forum. Do not attach it.
