Well, let's hope that people start becoming more wise regarding spyware and virus issues. That is all the Windows 98 people can do to make sure their machines don't run any slower than they already do.

I just did an upgrade for a friend on an old Compaq laptop, changed her over from Windows 98 to XP home edition.

Boot time went from 5 minutes to 90 seconds. No kidding either.

Since Windows 98 support isn't going to be there for much longer anyway on the updates side of the house, it would behove most of them to upgrade their computer anyway. Liz
