Story goes like this...
At random times, particularly when the computer is idol, virtual blue bugs crawl on the screen. The use of control panel is gone, saying no permission is granted to that user. They also cannot change the clock, calendar, background, screen saver, resolution, etc.
I cannot update adaware or avg, and when re-downloading them I am having issues. I used my thumbdrive to pull avg.exe over and reinstall it, however, that version is 7.2 and I didn't have an updated version with me.
My plan was to download the newest, which is like 8.1, and put it on my thumbdrive and go back to this person's house to do a full system scan with the newest avg.
But I figured until friday I had time to ask you folks. Anybody recognize this virus?
