Ugh...

I ran Kaspersky Online Virus Scan on my entire hard drive and sure enough, it found SIX viruses. But strangely, it says "skipped". It didn't delete or fix files. Now what?

Here are the line items with the viruses:

C:\System Volume Information\_restore{3DBD88D2-9FFC-498B-A689-A4771362F918}\RP463\A0110136.dll Infected: Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Zlob.akp skipped
C:\System Volume Information\_restore{3DBD88D2-9FFC-498B-A689-A4771362F918}\RP463\A0110138.exe Infected: Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Zlob.ako skipped
C:\System Volume Information\_restore{3DBD88D2-9FFC-498B-A689-A4771362F918}\RP464\A0110201.exe Infected: Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Zlob.ako skipped
C:\System Volume Information\_restore{3DBD88D2-9FFC-498B-A689-A4771362F918}\RP464\A0110203.dll Infected: Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Zlob.akp skipped
C:\System Volume Information\_restore{3DBD88D2-9FFC-498B-A689-A4771362F918}\RP464\A0110209.dll Infected: not-virus:Hoax.Win32.Renos.es skipped
C:\System Volume Information\_restore{3DBD88D2-9FFC-498B-A689-A4771362F918}\RP464\A0110215.exe Infected: not-virus:Hoax.Win32.Renos.ev skipped

Now what do I do? Helppppppppp............

I did that all yesterday. Everything except the rootkit when it froze my computer....

Actually Ewido found found of these items yesterday and ignored it. I have another thread talking about that as well....

I'll have to run Ewido again, but sure....

How do I capture the screenshot? Never done that before....and how would I post it? Cut and paste??

Now Kaspersky

Well now Ewido isn't finding this item, but Kaspersky is. Again, doesn't erase it. It says "skipped". ????

C:\System Volume Information\_restore{3DBD88D2-9FFC-498B-A689-A4771362F918}\RP464\A0110209.dll Infected: not-virus:Hoax.Win32.Renos.es skipped

What is this? It says hoax. Is it some false positive? Can't find any info. on this virus....

you are going to have to disable system restore, then run it again and see if it still picks it up

OK, do I simply check "Turn off system restore" in Control Panel or is there something more to it?

Thanks Warez.....
