ok i have the program but i dont think its working right. I go to set up the partition, i make it about 3 gigs... lable it and such... then i click apply and it says its a trial version and nothign happens =/

you need a floppy disk to put it on then boot up with it I think. It can only create FAT partitions too not NTFS, Check your PM messages.
