Every time that I start my computer and it reaches the desktop, the computer says, as the very first thing, that "There's no disc in the floppy-drive". And I havn't asked it to check the floppy-drive at all, it's before I can click on anything.

I've had a severe virus-infection and I'm still dealing with it. I'm suspecting this uninvited check of my drives (maybe it's not only the floppy??) to be a virus that I can't find with AVG-free edition.

Have you heard about this problem before?
And how can I make it stop?

THANKS A LOT if you can help me :)

go to start, run, type msconfig, press enter. Go to the startup tab, click disable all, recheck your antivirus and reboot, see what happens

It's still not stopping, and now it's even beginning to pop up when I've had the computer turned on for some time.

It says that it's explorer.exe who aksing for a floppydisc in the drive.

Anyone knows how I can stop it from checking my drive/drives?
