So a freind freaked out to me, his computers chalk full of virus.

I log onto his system via remote desxktop, and its the security scanner thing.

I get combofix d/l nd running as well as get malwarebytes ready to go to.

Combofix doeses its thing and so hes off to the races on MB with no more pop-ups.

An hour later, I'm surfin the FB and MSE pops up a unknown file is found, and asks to send it off to MS. I do it, and not 5 mins later, BOOM Security scanners scanning my system!

I 3 finger it, end 2 odd processes and its gone. Runnin g MB and its comming back fine, but still got 3 drives to go.

But seriously?? it got me over remote DT? or is it a coincidence?

It's possible to happen.. considering you were "networked" with him, technically, and if the bug can spread over a network, it could have jumped onto your system.

MB and MSE all say i'm clean.. I think the thing was I clicked on his pop-up when i was connected.
