Someone recommended that I run the Hijack this program...I was having issues with pulling up the internet while using a VPN and ISP. I've run spybot with the same 5 entries coming up all the time. But here's the Hijack this log:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I'm pretty much clueless when it come to the OS of my computer. Thanks in advance!!

:D

Thank you for your reply!! :)

I'm down to getting just the DOS Exploit with 2 entries each time I run the spybot...I was getting Advertisting.com, Avenue A. Inc, Double Click and Media Plex there for awhile.

This issue is that I contract work and I have to sign in with a VPN first (np there) and then onto the ISP (AOL..np there either). Once I'm on AOL I can't pull any internet site up. I turn off the VPN and go back into AOL and the web pages pull up just fine. I can go out to IE while signed with the VPN and AOL and the pages pull up just fine. I've run a ping test and it's fine. Hope this is enough info.

Me again...I've run the Adware SE and the VX2. Amazing the things this program found!! Thanks for your help there!! It is much appreciated!

Unfortunately...my issue still exists with the pulling up the internet while the VPN and ISP are signed on.

Any suggestions??

Hmm...that's interesting. I was able to connect via VPN with AOL up until just recently when this issue started and I was running AOL 9.0. What I have found over the years with my work is that sometimes the NAT is the issue and the port. Some use port 80 while some use others...mine is like 434. With Cox.net you have to uncheck the NAT altogether to get it to work.

I've posted to the other board and haven't had much luck. Folks have suggested I run all the spyware. That's how I ended up on this thread.

Thanks again for all your help...it's been appreciated!!
