Getting owned so hard by a virus.

some thing like this happened to me three days ago. But a little more extreme. Everything i tried to do made it worse, it was corrupting everything i touched. so i had to reinstall. no other option really, i tried everything. but i doubt that is for your case as well.

I am also very suspicious of Malware... MBAM... it does seem to be the only thing recommended, and that is bizarre, why isn't AVG or Norton able to catch this thing? and why is MBAM so highly suggested? (I just broke down and got MBAM due to Antivirus Suite)
