French Military Confounded by Conficker

We already told you how widespread the Conficker worm is and it looks like France isn't immune either. CNET reports that the worm is responsible for wreaking some havoc in their military.

Mr. Merchet quotes a publication that has somehow escaped my attention- Intelligence Online. This extremely serious resource for allegedly secret stuff declared that the virus "brought down certain arms systems" and grounded the Navy's Dassault Rafale aircraft.

I thought militaries didn't use Windows, I expected them to use some sort of custom OS. Unless Conficker isn't Windows-only?
