Hey guys,
I always get a lot of questions from family and friends about fixing their computers because they're slow, usually due to some sort of virus, adware, malware, etc. I've decided that my time is now at more of a premium than it has been in the past, so I'm going to start charging a little to fix the problems. Nothing extravagant, just a few bucks here and there to compensate for my time, fuel, etc. Anyways, as a result, I want to be able to do the job as thoroughly, yet punctual, as possible. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on putting together some sort of toolbox of programs for fighting these villains that could fit on a reasonably sized flash drive (i.e. I don't have a portable 512 gig SSD.). Osiris' guide is a great start, but I'm wondering if anyone thinks there's anything else I might need to be ready for most of the usual suspects that prey on unprotected files everywhere.
