Files won't delete!

I have two JPEG files that I downloaded from Limewire. Well it turns out that the title to them are porn related and when you right click to delete them, there isn't an option to delete. You can't even send them to the trash bin. You can't rename, move, edit or delete these 2 files for some reason. One file is 223KB and the other is 45.5KB. I want to get rid of them but don't see a way to do it. Can you please help? I am afraid they maybe spyware.

Did you do them in safe mode?
You Can use a Linux Live CD to boot from and delete them also.
But youll have to teach yourself how to do that,
Just google linux live and read the guide.
PM The General if you have problems with Linux.

Edit: Are you sure you used Hijackthis's remove on reboot feature?

Its never failed for me...

The remove on reboot feature is in misc tools section, you then broswe to the files you want removed and hit open then restart.

Yes I tried in safe mode, no luck. The problem with the 2 programs you suggested is that when it asks to select the file or type in the complete path, it says invalid file, or it just won't be recognized. I guess I'll try reading up on Linux.

i betcha i know what it is..

Rename their file names, they are probably to long to delete

Most of the "porn-related" things on limewire have extremly long names, making them impossible to move to the recycle bin or open.

I can't rename them, it wont let me. I can't do anything to these files it seems like they're untouchable. Can't move them, delete, rename, edit.....etc. Nothing is working on these 2 files.

No limewire is not running. Like STE said I have tried deleting in safe mode with no luck.
