Ewido - starts up by itself

Ewido is getting annoying....

I deselect Ewido from the "StartUp" menu in msconfig and then erase that entry....

But sure enough, every time you start Ewido, it stays on in system tray, and puts itself back into the "StartUp" menu. This is really annoying.

How do you change it so ewido won't start on startup? I can't seem to find the right setting in the program.

i good program for that is autoruns you can get i form sysinternals freeware it is a program that shows u everything that starts at boot up and alows you to de select anything you dont want i used it to get rid of the annoying window genuine advantage cripe u should check your program settings very carefully i am not familiar with ewido but alot of times in the advanced settings you can find an option to turn off the auto start feature

ok scratch that i decided to check out the progaram out of curiousity and found oot if u right click the logo in your tray it will give u the option to turn of the auto start feature its just that easy
