DNS HELP

Hey guys,
This has been an on-going problem I am having. The DNS server JUST for my pc on the network seems to be toggling on and off. My other computer in the office and shared computer are all operational and i can connect to things via ip address (sometimes, but not always) mainly just ventrillo. I can not figure out what is causing this problem... I tried restarting my modem and router numerous times... and got nothing.. Also, I tried different network cables from the wall jack to my pc and nothing... It just turns off randomly and then turns back on randomly... This an extreme annoyance and need to fix it. Please HELP!!!!

Are you sure it is a DNS issue?
DNS is translating domain addresses (FQDN) to IP addresses since IP are actually only one which TCP/IP protocol can use.
