Desperate Need of help

We have an external hard drive, that has almost 1 tb of business information that was plugged into a computer an employee was re-imaging. He was using gimagex and was in the diskpart and "cleaned" the partition. Now the HDD when plugged in does not show up in windows. This data is absoltuley critical. Is there anyway to get it back?

Well if you are extremely lucky you can use something like Recuva, Pandora File Recovery or OnTrack to get the files back. But there is no guarantee.

Thank you for that suggestion I will look into that. I am currently running testdisk on it and if that fails will go to yours.

You can try a program called File Scavenger. I have used this program with success in recovering files in the past.
