crashes

Ive recently reinstalled .net 2 on my dads comp because the comp crashed when he tryed to access the internet, and now wheneva he goes on the internet or trys to do a norton anti virus scan the computer reboots! Strangly though norton updates fine without crashing. Ive tryed using mozilla but the same happens.

So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok ive fully updated my virus definitions and everything is working fine now.
