Could use some help

Well, looks like my PC is infected. Every once in a while a process called "cmdhost" appears, the description says "Critical system process". When it's running, my GPU starts getting hot and it stops working properly. It also gets added as a startup application. The cmdhost application seems to be located in a Documents/Windows folder that keeps appearing. There are also numerous other files in the folder.
I was wondering if anyone has encountered a similar virus and if there's an anti-spyware program I could use to get rid of this, without installing an anti virus software.

Free Virus Scan
Try one or all of those free apps. It just a scanners and remove tools they don't give any real time protections.
System re-installing is an option but to repair system in other ways is more interesting even more time consuming. ;]

Boot into safe mode with networking.

Run this one first (have it update itself):
|MG| Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.65.1.1000 Final Download

Then this one:
|MG| Combofix (Latest) Download

Repeat with both.
