A few months ago, I got a screen the browser window stating congratulations from Google for winning an iPhone or something.. I don't quite remember. I considered that computer infected with malware.

A few weeks ago I saw the same screen or similar on my own computer. I use MSE and performed a full scan, installed Malwarebytes and did a second full scan with it. The only thing which was detected was AA_v3.5.exe file which I rarely use. So I thought, the infection must have been on the website not my PC.

But today, I was on my hotmail, and without opening any attachment or something, the same kind of screen replaced my hotmail page. I closed my browser, downloaded and installed Malwarebytes and stated a full scan. Once again, nothing was found but AA_v3.5.exe file!!

What do you think guys?

Any weird extensions installed on your browser?

Could also just be drive-by ads that got injected into normal ads. This is why I run Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin on my browsers.
