Best free antivirus?

Hi, my 1 month trial antivirus runs out on my new laptop soon. Just wondering if there is a good free one I can use instead or do I need to buy one?

vernong1992 is right, however, I don't think NOD32 is free... but I really like that one.

Otherwise, go with AVG.
