AVG and NOrton

Do you all think that Norton is better or AVG is better?
some people say that Norton takes more time to detect a virus.
and AVG is more efficient...
so, which one is better?

can somebody recommend any others anti-Virus software?

nortan might have more Features, but i think it's a bit slow on scanning and stuff. i have had nortan 2002 for a year and when i needed to get a renewal i just un-installed it as it was not worth the cash. now i use avg and it's workin good, plus it's free. theres some other ones out there too such as anti-vir XP and Bit defender free edition. Theres also one called kaspersky which is prettey good, but not free.

norton has alot of features. but avg is easy on your system.
