AVG Free Antivirus will not update

Hi everyone!

My AVG Free Anti Virus will no longer update. I keep getting the following message:

Invalid Update Control CTV File. It shows up when I attempt to update and is found in the Update Manager Component.

Can anyone help me with this please?

It must be server problems. I've been having random troubles updating on all my computers.

Thanks for the heads up. I was a little nervous and did not want to mess up my system so I decided to uninstall and then reinstall and do the update. It works fine now.
