I've been using my AVG free edition for quite a while now without a hitch, but recently the thing just can't update. It says the anti-virus and anti-spyware are outdated, but when I go to update it, it finishes successfully but it still says it's outdated. So I try to update it again, it finishes successfully, but it's not up to date. I tried turning off my firewall and I tried reinstalling but I still get the same problem. Any ideas?

If you are still running the 7.5 version of AVG download the latest 8.0 to replace it. The common item when seeing that message is a need to go for a newer build. AVG Free - Download installation files & documentation
