Which Antivirus Program?

I currently use Norton and AVG antivirus programs. Recently I have heard that Norton is not very good to use. What is your opinion? Would MCafee be good to use?

Don't run 2 Anti Viruses at the same time

Stick with AVG or Avast.

do not use mcafee had notheing but problems with them. avg is your best option and it is free.

I prefer AVG over every other virus scanner, but i'm sure in the near future we'll be seeing something "bigger and better". Avg stacked With Ad-Aware and Spybot seem to keep my system clean.

McAffee is no good. I use Norton system works and Spysweeper for spyware

I don't like McAfee.

Many people consider Nod32 as the best AV program.

Norton is also good but is a resource hog.

The combination you have is exactly what I use for my "internet" computer. As long as your Norton is kept up to date and its engine is say not four to five years old it is one of the best AV programs you can have.

AVG has improved A LOT with its recent and latest versions.

It used to be mediocre several years ago. Its detection rating was once as low as 15% or somewhere around there. It also failed something like 9 tests in a row as issued by Virus Bulletin.
