Am I a victim of computer infection?

Hey there! I want to ask you to give me some clue about a strange alert that I saw on my desktop this morning. It warned me that my AV tool is not working properly. However, I noticed that this warning is not produced by my AV program. It was displayed by some application I know nothing about and it claimed that in order to fix my machine I have to download and buy its full version. It seemed that the promoted software is a security tool, but I have never heard anything about it, so I have no idea what to do.

Yes, it's a fake AV / scareware.

Boot into Safe Mode, and download Combofix: ComboFix Download
Run that, post the logfile that it generates here.
After you run ComboFix, run MBAM: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - CNET Download.com

Ah, so I`m a victim of computer fraud? Well, I found this link on Google Trojan FakeAlert – how to remove and there were removal instructions. However, I failed to apply these steps and then I decided to scan my PC with Kaspersky`s TDSSKiller. I worked and now I think everything is ok, because I don`t see the annoying alert anymore.
