I forgot how to get into safe mode, its F8 right?. I'm using Windows XP btw.

Yep, just keep hitting F8 while you're booting and you should get a screen asking what you want to do after a bit.

Thanks for that S0ULphIRE but it doesn't seem to work on my system. I pressed F8 but instead of getting that black screen with safe mode clearly displayed on it i got a blue box with 5-6 options. Any ideas why ?

It could e your mobo... Take a picture of the options.
