Im not good at reading HiJAckthis logs however, I hope MicroBell will be around soon to help you.

Please get ride of mAcafee AV, Use AVG or Avasti, they are alot better and free.

I have mircrosoft antispyware and adaware i do not have mcafee im not sure why that was there. I did dl avg then it just took forever but it found nothing. I deleted

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [McAfee Antivirus 32] MCAFEEAV32.EXE
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [AIM] C:\PROGRA~1\AIM\aim.exe -cnetwait.odl
O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [McAfee Antivirus 32] MCAFEEAV32.EXE

Comp seems good ive only been on aol for a little though. I can use ctrl alt del now so its better than it was i know that for sure. if anything else goes bad ill update this. Thank you for your help!

Until MB gets here to help, you will want to put HJT in it's own file and not a temp file.
C:\Documents and Settings\Travis Keeney\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\97IU0J02\hijackthis[1]\HijackThis.exe

Try placing it in it's own folder like C:\hjt\HijackThis.exe.

Dave :D

Ok i fixed it its saved in documents now. Its fixed no more problems. Thanks guys i appreciate it!

Please open hijackthis...go to the backup section..highlight this entry and click restore..

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [AIM] C:\PROGRA~1\AIM\aim.exe -cnetwait.odl

It's LEGIT! If you followed the other thread I posted for a user for this virus..please post a Panda scan log.

Please run an online scan at http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm
Once it has finished save the activescan log. Then post that log in your next post.

why restore it? i deleted it and ever since my comp has been perfect. not a problem. I told my friend to do the same and it fixed hers as well. let me know why u say this, unless maybe im misunderstanding what you are implying. thanks
