adware detected in my PC

An adware has detected in my PC, i have downloaded an adware software that has detected an adware, but after detecting it hasn't removed the adware because it was not free, any one please tell me the sites from where i could downloaded the free of cost spyware and adwares

the free one isn't that great compared to the professional

No, it isn't if you go here: AdAware SE But in my opinion, the free one works very well in combination with Spybot 1.3 and now adding Microsoft® Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) for Windows 2000 and XP versions. Liz
