Windows Media etc, licenses? I just want to watch my video!!

Whenever I download a video/AVI etc etc I get the aquiring license stuff and then it links me to a unwanted, read adult porn, site. I just want to watch the videos, thats all. ANy idea how to forget these licenses and be done with it?

Not really a way round it. It sounds more like the wma license stuff, but either way every time someone seems to make a workaround the hole gets fixed.

I think that the way to get around it, is to rethink how you "acquire" these videos. Most videos posted on the net, legit or not, have some affiliation with a search/spyware company or adult related websites forcing you to install spyware, software or look at... websites of some variety. I wouldn't recommend doing it.

Well if you want to look at it that bad..you can try using or downloading a new player. I used to download street racing videos online and i had to download a new player bc media player couldnt play it.....but i cant remember what one it was. try and see if you can find one that works for you.

I will try DIVX or Winamp. The street raceing videos from Europe are great and here in the states I get alllot of licenceing. Must be money in it

Yea DivX is what i used i couldnt remember the name of it.
