Win98 IE Compatibility

I need to install a printer on a system with win98 and the cd wont install because it needs higher than IE5.. Can i install 7? or is it not compatible? If not can anyone tell me where i can find IE6 for download?

or check google I saw a bunch. An xp disk will have it on there as well.

Thanks.. I need the install files and not a setup file that will need an internet connection. No internet connection on the specific PC.. only need to update IE5 so i can install the printer
