Hotmail is web based, (so not sure you can export your mail to your pop3 account) I noticed it was a bit querky last week but they were toying with it.. and when they do live mods on web pages it distorts everything until they're finished, also they may have had a few code glitches that they corrected when they changed it all around.

Hotmail can be downloaded to software now. Windows Live Mail can do it with no add ons. I have a topic in the Index here as well on how to do it with Outlook 2007. Even the free accounts can be downloaded without having to go to the web interface now.
