F fitzjj Daemon Poster Messages 544 Mar 26, 2006 #3 a bit is a single bit a byte is 8 bits. bit = b byte = B Kilo for the most part means 1000, although it is infact 1024 when it comes to storage (2^10) I dont have 1meg bb, but would expect to get around 800Kb/s or 100KB/s - don't expect it to max out.
