Comcast advertised this as 6meg down and 0.5meg up, so I'm pleased. I only really gave a crap about the upload bandwidth anyway, and I get around 7 to 9 Mbit on various servers from Speedtest.net

It's just the new plans. My old plan is up so I am updating to the new plan which offers this new speed. It is about $15 more than my current plan, but comes with a DVR, 100 new channels, and the faster internet.
