URL's on outlook have a blue box and are not visable...

Hey guys my boss's email at work is going nuts.

Everytime he recieves an email with a URL there is a big blue box that blocks the URL.

The only time they are visible is when you reply to the email then the blue box goes away and the URL's are visible.

Outlook has been reinstalled....

Its not an exchange issue.

Formatting his PC at this moment is no option.

Have you created a new outlook profile for him yet ?

try via the run line : outlook.exe /s ( or safe )
and see if that helps at all.

Is this every url ? or just this that one ?
Does it happen when everyone sends a URL or just that one person ?

When did this start happening ? What was changed on the machine prior to this issue?

This may not even been outlook. Do you have websense or other site/spam blocking software on the network ?
 
yup every URL not just that one.

Also happens from any sender not a specific person. Nothing was changed prior to the issue. That is what i dont understand, it seems though this just happened out of no where.

We use spamnet however there are currently no settings on it. Others in the office obviously are able to view the urls.

Does your network utilize roaming profiles ?

Test his email account on another machine.

Do you have any Antivirus running on his current machine ?
 
norton corporate and have tried his email account on another machine and its the same thing...blue box
