speed up downloads

Any1 know any free, non spyware/adware, download managers that speed up downloads?
I heard of flashget b4 but the free version has spywayre and stuff in it.

Dont want to sound like everyone who responds to how to get faster downloads but, if you dont already have real broadband get it. If you do google uncapping your modem. But its illegal cause your taking more than your paying for, worse case you loose your contract and they sue you.

Yeah it's not good to get sued. Download managers do not speed up your connection, because as nickel said, 99% of internet connections are capped.

Yeah, if you are using DSL or cable, possibly there is a higher package you can upgrade to? If not, get cable or DSL if its available in your area.
