Removing All MSN Files

hey my mom and i have been trying to get her msn working and she needs to get all of her msn files erased and get them all back..she wants msn messenger 7.5 and just cant seem to get it working, if this is in the wrong catagory please tell me

Just uninstalling it won't remove all of the files. Whenever you uninstall it, go into your Program Files and remove the folders for it. I really don't think that having registry items left would make a difference, but if you want you can run something like CCleaner. I would think this should take care of her problems, but post back if your mom is still having trouble.

Make sure there isn't a folder for said program in the Documents and Settings folder (may be hidden).

as above, after uninstalling in add remove programmes make sure you actually go into c: and check for any left overs and delete them, then when your sure everything is gone, run ccleaner, click on "issues", then scan
