Outlook Receiving Problem

Hello all.
I have an email problem.
I'm running Win 2000 - and I can send fine however I cannot receive without clicking the
'Send/Receive' button. I'm sure its a setting;however I cannot find any setting to restore this function.
Any suggestions?

There is a setting for how often it checks for new mail. I think it defaults to 5 minutes or something. It can be set to whatever you want. Maybe you are not giving it time to refresh? It is under tools, options, mail setup, send recieve. It also has a box to autosend/recieve on startup.

Im sorry..Im running win 2000 not 2003.
In 2000, I cant find any fix,

OK. tools, options, mail delivery. Check the box for send messages immediately when connected and also check for new messages every <X> minutes
