opera and firefox

I mostly use internet explorer on my laptop, but would use the other's if i could get tha side of the touchpad to scroll the page's.
Is there anyway of doing this please.

Check for a newer driver for the touchpad and see if it makes any difference.

Just updated the driver.
Didn't work any other idea's?

See if you can change any settings in control panel or the programs that came with the touchpad.

I've tried all that.

Somehow i updated the wrong driver.
Updated the right driver everything's working fine now.
