Opera 10.62 - Don't Open in Background Tab

I use my wheel button to open new tabs in my browsers, and I aways set the default to switch to new tab.
In FF and IE this is no problem when using the wheel button, however Opera has this button defaulted to open new tab in background. Is there any way to get this to switch to the new tab with this wheel button?

Preferences -> Advanced -> Shortcuts -> Middle click actions

EDIT: correction: "Middle-click options" not "Middle click actions"
