Odd Firefox problem

I am using FF 4.0.1 and on some websites (Not all) the "back" button on my mouse doesn't work right. I have to hit it sometimes 3 times to go back one page. I can click the back button in the browser and it works fine, but I tend to be lazy and just want to use the button on the mouse. Logitech MX518 mouse.

Does the back button on your mouse work for IE?

Yes it works in IE and it worked using the older version of FF. As soon as I upgraded to version 4 it stopped working right. maybe the sites where it doesn't work right aren't compatible with 4?

were you using mouse gestures in the old version of FF?

OK, upgrading to Firefox 5 fixed the problem. Weird.
