Need to block all or most porn

If you are using Fire Fox there is a add on called FOX FILTER that should do it.

Kids are geniousness when it comes to getting in some ware there not meant to be I rember back in school there was some kind of block that only let prefects have Internet access It didn't take me long to to figure out how to get around that with social engineering and the schoolboy equivalent to dumpster diving.

In all honesty though, its more of a pain than its worth to try to operate with default deny.

In the end, porn will ultimately win out I'm afraid. Much like spam will always be a problem.

i too am having a problem blocking porn and i HAVE enabled content advisor, any other suggestions??

With my home setup I have a beige box running pfSense which includes Snort IDS. One of the rulesets you can block is "porn" which includes keywords that it would scan for and block accordingly.

Its a long way from being perfect, but you could tweak it overtime to block enough to do at least some good.
