Mozilla Firefox 3.0.5 Released December 16, 2008

A update to the most popular open source web browser came out today. Version 3.0.5 of the widely popular Mozilla Firefox Browser was released. It is not even updated on their site but is available for download from their FTP.

Can I download it on Ubuntu 8.10 via ftp? I am not sure how to do it if I am able to. What app. would I use. Or could I just use my current Firefox browser to do it. Thanks in advance.

Just go thru the browser. The FTP is a regular download it just wasnt on the home page when i posted this. It is up on their home page now.
