Can i know what is mean by Mirror site?
it seems that many sites promted us to download from the Mirror Site, but i am not clear with that.
Can anyone tell me more about this?

Mirror site is just a image or a copy of it!

you can select a Mirror site which is close to you and download what you need

The meaning of mirror says it all... Mirrors of a file are just different servers that store the same copy of a file.

And in many cases, some are direct links while others link to the file...I prefer direct...!

IE:

http://www.tf.com/file1.zip
url2:
http://www.tf.com/process.php?action=dl&id=41234

...but anyways, yeah, some servers are not quite so stedy, or just cannot provide enough support for the amount of downloads a web site will expect (or the bandwidth)...so they put the file in other places, to take the load off their server...!

but so far, i kno that they will provide a nearest mirror site for you to download according to the IP address.
