links via AIM don't work

I have never gotten an internet link that I recieve from people over AIM to work properly with MSN. I assume if MSN were not up and I clicked on a link, it would just open up an IE page for me. But no, every single link I have ever gotten or sent if I clicked on it, it takes me directly to the AIM directory that is in my computer's program files. This is the same on my old AMD computer. Why does this take me to the AIM directory on my computer, and how do I set it to open up IE or MSN when I click a link?

I have installed the current version of AIM from AIM.com numerous times on both computers and still nothing.

Try setting Ie as the default browser, if it isn't already. if all fails i guess you could just coyp and paste the URL which isn't that big of a deal.

Yeah, I have been copy/pasting for the past few months, it's just that I'm lazy! LOL. Thanks guys for the suggestions.
