I have a Dell Latitude D610 Laptop on which I am trying to establish an LAN connection. When I plug the cable in, the lights flash that it's working, and my computer tells me that I am connected. However, when I try to go on the internet, I get an error message that reads "Server Not Found." My wireless internet is disable, and my LAN connection is enabled, so I'm not sure what the problem is. I'd appreciate any feedback people could give me. Thanks!

HAve you reset the router and/or modem after plugging in your laptop. Have you restarted your laptop after plugging it in?
Some ISP's force you to restart your Modem everytime you move it from 1 PC to another. This is so that the Modem can register that it is connected to anew device.
