You are thinking of KMD (KaZaA Media Desktop). This user is looking for Kazaa Lite. Kazaa Lite uses no ads or spyware. I must say though that Ares is much better.

I use LimeWire also, but it is a pretty old version. I haven't had any problems with it, but I wasn't sure about the new ones. All I know is I wont be taking any chances, personally. Use your own judgement.

Limewire crashes my comp. About 5 minutes of being connected it reboots my stuff. Its the only program or time that my comp does it. I dont know? It is a good program though. Napster is really good you just have to pay for it!

i think shareaza is a really good choice.

you just need to do some configuring.

plus spyware free.

Thanks guys. I found out about Sharaza and looks nice. Problem is it can't connect to gnutella1 or the donke thing.

The file transfers are really slow and break also.

like i said it does take some configuring.

i would check out there help section on how to configure.

it's not one of these programs where you just open and start downloading. it works alot better if you let it run for a while.

Yeah, changed to power mode, config'd some other stuff, connected to G1 and G2, with 3 hubs in G2, and can't connect to eDonkey, but what the h3ll. I've downloaded some stuff now, it's really fast.

i get just smokin download speeds off G1 alot.

really the key is though to keep it running a while.

G1 takes a while to finish connecting. Go read a book and come back. G1's really busy.
