internet settings

I am not very good on the net and i was wondering if anyone knows how to change the setting so that when you type something in a search engine e.g. google it doesn't give you a list of things you already searched for.

which browser you are using? (must be Firefox or similar engine)

u have to delete history, (or) turn off auto complete feature. this is not internet's functionality, but browser's.
